Quite simply, the following few players are Europe’s most prolific strikers bar Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. We’re just over half-way through the season now and these three relatively low-key strikers have all amassed over 15 league goals for their clubs (or previous club in one case). Given Jonathon Soriano’s goal scoring record this season, and in the past, you might not be surprised to know that he was once on the books of FC Barcelona. However, the Catalan striker’s 55 goals in 79 appearances for Barcelona B was not enough to earn him a place at the Camp Nou and consequently he has now taken to destroying the Austrian league.
